Our School
Oakley Church of England Junior School is centrally situated in the picturesque Hampshire village of Oakley, three miles west of Basingstoke. The area served by the school includes the villages of Oakley, Wootton St Lawrence, Ibworth and Malshanger.

Facilities
The Junior School shares an extensive site with the Infant School. The excellent facilities include spacious and well resourced classrooms, music room, library, ICT suite and hall.

The large attractive grounds include two hard playing areas, an outdoor swimming pool, and substantial fields, allowing the pupils to participate in a wide range of sports throughout the year. Environmental work is undertaken in the well kept gardens, copse and willow dome.

Organisation
Each class is a separate unit with the majority of teaching taking place in the class, although mixing may take place for a variety of activities. Some grouping will be determined by ability for specific subjects, particularly Mathematics and English.

Throughout the school we aim to develop a broad based curriculum for all our pupils. Children are encouraged to work both individually and in groups to foster their initiative, originality, organisational and co-operative skills.
